Honor has today announced the launch of anew paint job for its latest device, the Honor Play, in India. The brand has introduced the Ultraviolet colour option of the smartphone in the country.
The new paint job is available for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option and it will be available of purchase from Amazon starting October 03, 2018. The new variant comes with a price tag of Rs 19,999. With this, the smartphone is now available in Red, Blue, Black and Ultraviolet colour options. To recall, the phone made its Indian debut in August this year. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 19,999 for 4GB + 64GB version and Rs 23,999 for 6GB + 64GB option.
Meanwhile, the company has rolled out 4D Smart Shock feature to the latest gaming-centric smartphone with a new update. This feature basically adds dense vibrations that are tuned to work differently on different scenes. This simply means that when you playing games, you will feel a different vibration tone, which is interesting in its own right. The update also brings August security patch.

Jumping straight to the specifications, the Honor Play features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display and it is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 970 Chipset with ARM Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The device comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
For optics, the phone features 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor at the back, while for the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter. The phone is backed by 3750mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, which is based on EMUI 8.1. Connectivity option includes dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm Headphone jack.
