Honor launched Honor Play smartphone in India last year in two variants – 4GB + 64GB version for Rs 19,999 and 6GB + 64GB for Rs 23,999. Now the smartphone has received a price cut of up to Rs 7,000.
The 4GB variant is now priced at Rs 14,999 after a price cut of Rs 5,000 while the 6GB variant after a price cut of Rs 7,000, retails at Rs 16,999 on Amazon India. The smartphone is listed in Navy Blue, Midnight Black and Ultraviolet colour options on Amazon.
The Honor Play features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display and it is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 970 Chipset with ARM Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. For optics, the phone features 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor at the back, while for the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter.
The device comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. The phone is backed by 3750mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, which is based on EMUI 8.1. Connectivity option includes dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm Headphone jack.
