Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced limited period offers on its famous Honor 8 Pro and Honor 6X smartphones. The offers will be available exclusively on company’s official website starting from August 30, 2017, to September 01, 2017.
Under the offers, consumers will get a range of accessories including headphone, USB Type-C cable, Micro USB to Type C converter and a selfie stick worth Rs 2,000 on the purchase of Honor 8 Pro. Further, the company is also offering a premium selfie stick on the purchase of Honor 6X. The offer would be in limited stock for the 3-day event on Honor Store.
To recall, the company launched Honor 8 Pro for the Indian market at Rs 29,999, while the Honor 6X was launched in India in January this year and the phone now retails for Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
As per the specifications are concerned, the device will feature a 5.7-inch QHD LTPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a Pixel density of 515ppi. The device is powered by company’s in-house Kirin 960 octa-core Processor and is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is juiced by a 4000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the smartphone support 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-SIM, Infrared sensor and measures 157 x 77.50 x 6.97 mm and weighs 184 grams. The Honor 8 Pro gives a stiff competition to the likes of OnePlus 5, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro and others.
Honor 6X features a combination of a 12-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The set up comes with phase detection Autofocus (PDAF), LED flash etc. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies. The camera lets you dig into and play with shallow depth of field and one can change the focus of an image post clicking it.
As far as other specifications are concerned, Honor 6X runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI v4.1 on top. Other than that, it comes with a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass protection. On the inside, the device is powered by a Kirin 655 octa-core (4 cores at 2.1GHz + 4 cores at 1.7GHz) Chipset with Mali-T830MP2 GPU paired with 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. In both the cases, the internal storage is expandable via microSD card. There is 3340 mAh battery inside and the smartphone also offers 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, Compass etc.
