Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has scheduled an event in Paris, France on 22 January in which the company is expected to unveil Honor View 20 (Honor V20) with in-screen camera. Now seems like the smartphone will first be launched in Hong Kong.
The company has released a new poster on Weibo revealing an event to be held in Hong Kong for the launch of new technologies on December 10. It is now expected that the Honor will be launching Honor V20 at the event. The poster shows a big number 3 featuring the night view of Hong Kong in the background.
The smartphone will be a successor of Honor View 10 that was launched in India earlier this year. As per rumours, the Honor V20 will feature a full HD+ resolution (2310 x 1080 pixels) display. The device will be powered by Huawei‘s top-of-the-line Kirin 980 SoC.
The battery of Honor V20 is expected to carry support for 22.5W rapid charging. The phone will come preloaded with EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie. The rumours also say Honor V20 will be priced at 2799 Yuan (approx. 28,715) in China.
