Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced the launch of a new fitness band in India known as Honor Band A2. The fitness band comes with a price tag of Rs 2,499 and it will be exclusively available from Amazon starting January 08, 2018.
The Honor Band A2 comes with 0.96-inch multi-touch OLED display. The fitness band comes with sensitive and low-power heart rate chip, which uses intelligent algorithms to calculate heart rate data. This allows users to monitor heart rate corresponding to the exercise intensity in real-time and adjusts their state of exercise to improve efficiency. The band can record the heart rate, time, and distance data of a single exercise, and then display the all-day exercise data, such as step count and calories on a phone connected to the band.
The band also track the sleep status, diagnose sleep problems and come up with a solution, as per company’s claim. It features sleep algorithm and heart rate module, which can differentiate between deep sleep, light sleep and awake status. The device comes with multiple workout modes, exercise trajectory, smart alarms, sleep monitoring, message display and incoming call notification mode. It is sweat and water resistance and offers up to 9 days of battery life and up to 18 days of standby time.
