Honor is working on the successor of Honor 7X smartphone - Honor 8X. A retail box of Honor 8X recently leaked online and now its the turn of some leaked images to surface online.
The leaked images have been posted on Chinese microblogging website - Weibo and have been spotted showing phone being used on a bus. As per the images, the Honor 8X sports a waterdrop-shaped notch for the front camera. The phone looks quite tall and it shows only the front side of the device. One can also see a small chin at the bottom and thin bezels around the screen. The front also features Honor branding at the bottom of the device.
The company confirmed the Honor 8X recently via an official teaser on Weibo hinting that the smartphone will be launched soon. The teaser comes with a caption “breaking the limit” which could hint at its big screen size.
Honor 8X was also earlier spotted on TENAA listing, as per which the Honor 8X will feature a 7.12-inch display with a screen resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels. For the camera, it will have a dual rear camera of 16-megapixel, secondary 2-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera. It will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with Huawei’s EMUI 8.

The Honor 8X will It will be powered by Kirin 710 octa-core processor of 1.8 GHz and it will have a massive 4,900mAh battery. It will have a 4GB of RAM, internal storage of 64GB and a microSD card slot for expandable storage. The smartphone will measure 177.57 x 86.24 x 8.13mm and weighs 210 grams.
