Honor 6A launched with Android Nougat and Fingerprint Sensor

Honor 6A smartphone comes in Gold, Silver, Blue and Pink colours.

Huawei has today launched its new smartphone, the Huawei Honor 6A in China. The smartphone comes in two variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage which is priced at 799 Yuan or approximately Rs 7,511 and 999 Yuan or approximately Rs 9,394 respectively. The smartphone sales will commence from 1st June at Vmall.com and JD.com. Honor 6A smartphone comes in Gold, Silver, Blue and Pink colours.

Honor 6A has a metal unibody design and features a 5-inch display that has display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It will be powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. The phone will also have an option to expand the storage upto 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone will get its strength by a 3020mAh battery which offers 19 hours of talk time and 363 hours of standby time. It runs on 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 on top of it. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is placed on its back panel.

On the camera front, the Honor 6A sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid dual SIM, with VoLTE, 4.1, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS with A-Glonass, a port, Gravity sensor, accelerometer. distance sensor and light sensor. The handset measures 143.7 × 70.95 × 8.2 mm and weighs around 143 grams.
