As reported earlier, Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, has sent out media invites for the launch event of its latest Honor 20 series which is scheduled to take place in London on May 21, 2019. But well before the launch event, the company hadlaunched Honor 20i in Beijinglast month and now Honor 20 Lite has been released in the UK. The smartphone will go on sale from May 15 onward at a price tag of 249 euros (approx Rs 19,338).
As far as specifications are concerned, Honor 20 Lite comes equipped with a 6.21-inch display with a Resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a drop-notch design. The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 710 SoC (4x Cortex A73 2.2GHz + 4x Cortex A53 1.7GHz) coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For the optics, Honor 20 Lite has a triple rear camera setup with 24-megapixel as a primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 480fps super slow-motion video, 1.8µm ISO enhancement and AI scene recognition. There is an 8MP Ultra Wide-Angle sensor f/2.4 aperture, 17mm sensor,120-degree field-of-view, while the third sensor comprises of a 2MP lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a 32MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, AI Beautification feature and can take 2.3 x 1.7m poster size selfie.
The phone also comes with an option to expand the storage up to 512GB via microSD card. Honor 20 Lite sports a rear fingerprint sensor and comes with Facial recognition feature. The smartphone runs on EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie OS and is backed up by a 3,400mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone comes in two different colour options -Midnight Black and Phantom Blue. Connectivity options include VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS with GLONASS, WiFi and Bluetooth.
If we go by the reports and leaks, Honor 20 Pro is said to have a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED hole-punch display, which will leave space for the selfie camera on the front. The might be powered by a flagship HiSilicon Kirin 980 Processor along with Mali G76 GPU. The smartphone is expected to sport triple-camera setup at the back panel. The phone is said to have a 48-megapixel primary lens along with a 20-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. In the Front, the phone might feature a 32-megapixel selfie shooter like Honor 20 Lite. It would be backed by a 3,650mAh battery and will have up to 8GB of RAM with up to 256GB of storage option. Further, the smartphone is expected to have 22.5W Super Charge adapter for fast charging.
