If you are one of those who hatesto wait in long queues for a table at your favourite restaurant, then Google has a feature just for you. The company has announced that it will soon roll out restaurant wait times on Google Search, followed by Maps.
Through this feature, users will be able to get to know estimated wait time at their favourite restaurants or eating joint. In order to see wait times for nearly a million sit-down restaurants around the globe, one has to open the business listing and head to the Popular Times section. There one will find the estimated wait time at that very moment.
Further, users can tap on any of the hour bars to see the estimated wait times for that time period. One can also scroll left and right to see a summary of each days’ wait times below the hour bars. “Wait time estimates are based on anonymized historical data, similar to how we compute the previously launched Popular Times and Visit Duration features,” the company said in a blog post.

Meanwhile, Google is also planning to launch a new smart file manager application for Android devices. Dubbed as Files Go, the app will basically allow users to manage and free up more space in different ways.
The Files Go will also feature the ability to share files offline between two users. This could be done by setting up a ‘fast hotspot’ with just a tap of a button, the Play Store description said.
