Google has pushed out yet another update for the Google Maps app on the smartphone. The release note states that the new Google Maps update will reduce the app storage size with downloads.

Google Maps app v 5.11.0 update aim to consume less storage space based on the different screen size. Several Android 2.3 Gingerbread running devices come with chip built in such as Nexus S and with this new Google Maps update that NFC Chip can be put to good use.
