Gionee has today added a new member to its X series with the launch of the X1s smartphone in India. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 12,999 and will be available from select retail stores starting from September 21, 2017.

The company is also offering some interesting deals on the purchase of Gionee X1s. To start with, Airtel customers will get extra 10GB data each month for a period of 6 months on any data recharge of 1GB or more on the purchase of the X1s. Similarly, every purchase of Gionee X1s will come with 2 Paytm cashback voucher codes entitling customers with Rs 250 cashback on a base buy of Rs 350 from Paytm Mall.

The major highlight of the device is the 16-megapixel selfie camera with front flash. The device also comes with features like beautified video and face beauty 2.0. The Gionee X1s comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash. X1s combines remote and flash together which is able to control devices at home

The smartphone comes loaded with a 5.2-inch display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with 3 protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T along with 3GB of and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro card slot.
