After Gionee W909 clamshell phone, the company now seems to be working on the successor of the phone. Now, the Gionee W919 has been spotted on TENAA’s website as it has received certification from the Chinese authority.
As per TENAA listing, the Gionee W919 has two identical screens, one inside and another on the front, Both the screens offer two 4.2-inch HD displays and 1280 x 720 resolution. This phone has a 64-bit 2.5GHz octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage and a 256GB micro SD card slot. As per the listing, the smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box and will also offer a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
Further, as per the listing, Gionee W919 has a 16-megapixel camera module and an LED flashlight on its rear panel, while a 5-megapixel selfie shooter is in its front. The handset measures 128 x 62.7 x 16.2mm and weighs around 230 grams. TENAA mentions only the black-coloured Gionee W919.
Now that the Gionee W919 has been certified by TENAA, we can expect the company to officially announce it and launch it in China.
