Gionee M6S Plus with 6GB RAM, 6020mAh battery launching on April 24

Last month, Gionee M6S Plus was found listed on TENNA, a Chinese certification website.

Gionee is all set to launch Gionee M6S Plus smartphone in China next week. Press invite images of the smartphone have surfaced online, which suggest about the same.

Moreover, as per press invite, the smartphone will have an encrypted chip which will be used to secure a user’s personal data on the device same as the previous M6 and M6 Plus smartphone and will also house a fingerprint scanner as well.

Last month, Gionee M6S Plus smartphone was found listed on TENNA, a Chinese certification website, revealing its detailed specifications along with some image renders.

As per the listing, Gionee M6S Plus will feature a 6-inch full AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1920× 1080 pixels and will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone will come with huge 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card. The M6S Plus will run on 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system which will be wrapped under Amigo OS.

On the camera front, the Gionee M6S Plus will sport a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone will get its strength from a massive 6020mAh non-removable battery and will also house a fingerprint scanner, which will be placed on its back panel. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), 4.0, GPS, a microUSB port, Gravity sensor and light sensor. The handset will measure 163 × 80.8 × 8.2 mm and will weigh around 212 grammes. The phone is listed in two colour options- White and Gold.
