Fresh on the back of its success with the Gionee A1 in India, expect a slew of launches for more price points from the brand as it capitalises on the fresh momentum behind the brand. A new Gionee F series smartphone with model name Gionee F100SD, was spotted on the Chinese certification website, TENNA, along with few images and some key specifications.
As per the listing, the Gionee F100SD features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixel and is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2400mAh battery.
On the camera front, the Gionee F100SD sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, a MicroUSB port, GPS, Distance Sensor, Gravity Sensor and Light sensor. The handset measures 143.7 x 70.5 x 8.15 mm and weighs 143.9 grams. Further, as per listing the smartphone comes in White and Black colours.
Just today, we reported that another Gionee smartphone with model name Gionee S10B was also spotted on TENAA. As per listing, the Gionee S10 will have a metallic unibody design and will feature a 5.5 (inches) full HD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The smartphone will come equipped with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also come with an option to expand the storage upto 12GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
On the camera front, the Gionee S10 will have a dual camera setup at the back panel with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor along with LED flashlight and on the front, it will have a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats. The smartphone will get its strength from a 3700mAh non-removable battery. Besides the smartphone will offer 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi and all basic connectivity functions. The phone is listed in Gold and Black colour options. The handset will measure 154.5 × 76 × 7.6 mm and weighs around 176.6 grams.
