A new Gionee smartphone with model name ‘Gionee S10B’ has been spotted on TENAA, a Chinese certification website, which will be launch as Gionee S10 in the coming days and will succeed last year’s Gionee S9 smartphone. The listing not only reveals the detailed specification but also carries the product images.
As per listing, the Gionee S10 will have a metallic unibody design and will feature a 5.5 (inches) full HD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The smartphone will come equipped with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also come with an option to expand the storage upto 12GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
On the camera front, the Gionee S10 will have a dual camera setup at the back panel with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor along with LED flashlight and on the front, it will have a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats. The smartphone will get its strength from a 3700mAh non-removable battery. Besides the smartphone will offer 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi and all basic connectivity functions. The phone is listed in Gold and Black colour options. The handset will measure 154.5 × 76 × 7.6 mm and weighs around 176.6 grammes.The smartphone is also expected to have a fingerprint scanner like its predecessor has.
To recollect, the Gionee S9 was launched in China last year and comes with Dual rear camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel with LED flash at the back, and another 13-megapixel front-facing camera with LED Flash for selfies and video chats. The smartphone features a 5.5 inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and comes equipped with 2.0 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor, along with Mali T860 GPU.
Gionee S9 comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card. The smartphone gets its strength from a 3000mAh battery with Fast charging feature. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS on top of it and houses a fingerprint scanner as well. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a microUSB port. The smartphone measures 154.2 x 76.4 x 7.4 mm and weighs 168.2 grams.
