Gionee A1 gets an update

The company claims that the update will give them the liberty to take panoramic selfies, as well as selfie videos in full HD support when in large groups or gatherings.

Gionee, the Chinese smartphone brand has introduced a new update for its Gionee A1 smartphones. This is an Over the Air (OTA) update which allows the users to click pictures without having to squeeze them to fit into the frame.The company claims that the update will give them the liberty to take panoramic selfies, as well as selfie videos in full support when in large groups or gatherings.

Furthermore, the update shall also offer visual guidance to the users, enabling them to capture better photographs and super selfies.Earlier this year the company had rolled in an update which would provide Gionee A1 users with the ability to take Bokeh selfies.

As the latest tagline of the company goes, ‘Selfiestan’, the company always tend to keep their focus directed towards an enhanced selfie experience. Gionee A1 offers a 5.5-inch full HD with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6755 Helio P10 processor, along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone also comes with an option to expand the storage to 128GB via card slot.

Previously, Gionee had introduced Virat Kohli’s Signature Edition Gionee A1 for the Indian market for Rs 19,999.
