Flipkart ropes in HP, Intel and Microsoft to offer laptops at Rs 999 per month

With this collaboration, the company makes an effort to tap the college students, young professionals and first-time PC buyers

India’s largest e-commerce marketplace, Flipkart, has collaborated with the top personal computing companies- HP, Intel and Microsoft to offer customers a HP Intel Core i3 Windows 10 laptops of Rs 36,000 at Rs 999 per month. The customers have to avail the 36-month option to get the HP laptop powered by 6th Generation Intel Core i3 Processor and Windows 10 at Rs 999 per month.

With this collaboration, the companies are making an effort to tap the college students, young professionals and first-time PC buyers. Flipkart has also partnered with ICICI Bank and CitiBank in order to provide a hassle-free financing option for the customers.

The initiative enhances Flipkart’s wide selection of laptops curated for its current Back to College campaign, popularly known as ‘Lap It Up’, which offers some of the best deals. The laptop category is the 3rd largest category on Flipkart and is growing more than 30% year-on-year against the industry growth of approximately 5%. Flipkart’s Back to College campaign itself has seen a 30% increase in sales of laptops since its launch reinforcing Flipkart’s market leader position in this category across both online and offline channels.
