RED, the company known for making elite professional video cameras for movies, showed off its first smartphone called Hydrogen One. For an estimated cost of $1,195 (which roughly translates to around Rs 76,000), the RED Hydrogen One smartphone will offer a 3D holographic experience without glasses. The smartphone will allow users to look around objects of the frame. YouTuber MKBHD had the chance to play with a non-functioning prototype of the RED Hydrogen One and got a sneak peek into the holographic display.
There will be another version of the RED Hydrogen One smartphone based on a titanium body for $1,595. The device offers a 5.7-inch display along with a dual-lens setup at the back and surprisingly offers a rugged grip. The back panel of the device is reinforced with Kevlar.
