Facebook now lets you broadcast Live Video through desktop

Through this features, users will now be able to go live on Facebook from their desktop or laptop computers.

Facebook has finally introduced the Live Video broadcast feature on the desktop. Through this features, users will now be able to go live on Facebook from their desktop or laptop computers. To recall, this feature was only available for mobile.

In order to broadcast a live video from a computer, a user needs to click “Live Video” from the top of his/her New Feed or Timeline, then follow the prompts to add a description and choose your audience. To make the live broadcast feature even more interesting, the company will also allow users to use streaming software or external hardware. This feature was previously available on a Page, but now the company has added to the Profiles as well.

Facebook Live VIdeo

Through this feature, people can share their screens, insert graphics, switch cameras, or use professional equipment in Facebook Live videos. They also have the option to broadcast to Facebook Groups they belong to, Facebook Events they’re part of or Facebook Pages they manage.

Previously, the company a new feature for its Messenger known as ‘Facebook Messenger Day’, which brings the ability to share photos and videos with your friends for just 24 hours after which the shared content will disappear accordingly. The update has been rolled out to both and platforms and should soon make way to your device.
