Oppo is all set to launch two new A-series smartphone soon, named as Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo A5 2020. Recently, we had reported that the Oppo A9 2020 smartphone officially teased in Vietnam and broke the news that the company is also working on another phone called Oppo A5 2020. Now we have more exclusive details on Oppo A9 2020 and oppo A5 2020.
Update:Oppo has just confirmed that it will be launching Oppo A9 2020 in India on September 10. The company has now started sending media invites for the launch event on the said date. The phone is likely to be priced at around Rs 20,000 in India.
The Oppo A5 2020 will be confirmed to have a quad-camera setup with 12-megapixel as the primary sensor. It will have 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage as one of the variants. In Vietnam, the Oppo A5 2020 is expected to be priced around 4,990,000 VND (approximately Rs 15,473).
Further, the Oppo A5 2020 is expected to come equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip and other three camera sensor would be an 8-megapixel as an ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel as macro sensor and another 2-megapixel as a depth sensor. On the front, the smartphone is expected to sport 16-megapixel selfie camera and will have a battery capacity of 5,000mAh. The smartphone will run on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie and will have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the smartphone will have a waterdrop-style notch design.
As far as Oppo A9 2020 is concerned, the pre-booking of the smartphone will kickstart in Vietnam from 12th September and will go on till 27th September. In Pakistan, the company will launch the Oppo A9 2020 and A5 2020 on September 19. The phone will be available in two colour options Purple Break and Blue Passion. As reported earlier, the company has already started teasing Oppo A9 (2020) smartphone in Vietnam and was also spotted on TENAA, revealing its keys specifications. Moreover, the company has also started teasing the phone in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia as well. The smartphone is expected to cost around 6,490,000 VND (approximately Rs20,029)in the Vietnamese market.
As per teasers in in Vietnam and TENAA listing, the Oppo A9 2020 will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display,will have awaterdrop-style notch design, will come equipped with 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 665 11nm SoC with Adreno 610 GPU and will have 8GB of RAM with 128GB storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD. Moreover, as per the press note released in Pakistan,the smartphone is confirmed to have48MPUltra-Wide-Anglequad-camera setup and16MP selfie camera with AI Beautification technology. The rear camera willalso support Ultra Night mode 2.0 andVideo Stability technology. TheOppo A Series will also boast Dual Stereo Speakers that offer higher volumes and Dolby Atmos for surround sound.
For the optics, 48MP as a primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 Aperture and another 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The camera is On the front, it will have a 16MP selfie camera. The smartphone will get its juices from 5000mAh battery and will run on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie. The smartphone will have a rear-mounted Fingerprint sensor and come with all standard connectivity options. The phone will measure 163.6×75.6×9.1mm and will weigh around 195 grams.
