Evernote gets updated for BlackBerry

The Evernote update brings offline notes, faster load time, and a host of other improvements.

Evernote, the cross platform note-taking and synchronizing application, has announced its latest update for BlackBerry smartphones.

With the update of Evernote, BlackBerry smartphone owners running BlackBerry OS5 and above will get all the improvements of this upgrade that include: offline note cache, that allows users to keep a local copy of the note created using the Evernote application on the deice itself even when there is no data connectivity. Along with that the speed of the Evernote application has been improved considerably, and also with the offline cache the users will be able to access notes faster than ever.

Along with these the application also gets a few small but notable additions that will definitely make work easier. So users will be able to sync any file type with their free or paid Evernote space as long as it complies with the size limitations. Along with that the synchronization process for the application and the notes has now been tweaked to support multiple sessions so users can stop the sync in between and begin from where they stopped last time.

The updated application can be downloaded straight from the BlackBerry store or can also be obtained from the Evernote website.
