Now that the Google Nexus 7 tablet made by Asus has been announced formally, more accessories for the tablet were being planned as well. Swedish site Nordic Hardware managed to grab an official Asus slide with listing of accessories for the Google Nexus 7 tablet.
The new list of official accessories from Asus for Nexus 7 tablet include a Travel Cover for $20 (Rs 1,100 approximately), Premium Cover for $40 (Rs 2,200 approximately), 10Watt Adapter for $25 (Rs 1,375 approximately) and Nexus Dock for $50 (Rs 2,750 approximately). These new set of accessories are expected to be hit the markets by August 24 next month.
Offering the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean native experience, the Nexus 7 tablet features a 720p HD resolution supporting 7-inch screen display and quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor inside.
Asus has also been working on the official accessories but it is going to take a while before they hit the market. Apparently, the list of accessories just got leaked on the web. Those interested in the Nexus 7 tablet should certainly consider purchasing the official accessories with that.
The Nexus Dock is meant for placing the Nexus 7 tablet at an angle and there is 3.5mm port for connecting it to speakers or headphones. There is also a Micro USB port for charging the tablet while you enjoy watching a movie or slideshow of photos. For frequent travelers, Asus will be offering different 10W adapters and a cable pair to keep it handy.
The premium leather case with fiber glass bumpers is dubbed as the Premium Cover that covers the tablet entirely. The re-inforced fiber glass is expected to protect the tablet against unexpected shocks and drops. This will be offered in four different colours.
Finally the snug fitting travel cover for the Nexus 7 tablet will be offered in six different colours and is made from TPU material. The cover offers the same texture as the tablet’s back and there is a Nexus logo.
All four accessories are expected to be sold online as well as offline stores by the end of next month. Hopefully we shall get to see wider availability of the Nexus 7 tablet India.
