Dell’s upcoming Windows 8 operating system based tablet will have a dual core processor and will come with a 10 inch touchscreen with a 720 p HD display, according to a report of Neowin.
Going by this specification, it can be assumed that the tablet would be priced on the higher side as was pointed by Michael Dell, the chief executive officer of Dell.
The tablet, which will be named as Latitude 10, will be based on the upcoming Windows 8 operating system and will feature a dual core Intel Atom Clover trail series processor for better multitasking and performance. The report added, the tablet will feature a 2 GB of integrated RAM and will come with optional storage options of up to 128 GB. The device will also feature a massive 8 megapixel rear camera while on the front there will be a 2 megapixel camera which will be capable of HD video calling as well.
Dell is expected to make the Latitude 10 available in both 3G and WiFi only variants along with an option to have a bigger six cell battery pack as well which will offer up to 10 hours of work time on the go.
Dell gave up the Android bandwagon for Windows as it matches more with its key business of computers and will now be waking towards a future of devices based on Windows 8 OS based products. And going forth more such products like the Latitude 10 tablet are expected to come from Dell’s stable.
