CBSE class X results on mobile

Result for Class X students of Chennai region is already out and results of the remaining regions will be declared today at 4 pm according to a statement from CBSE.

Like last year, students who have appeared for their class X examination of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) this year can also get information about their result through IVR (interactive voice response) and SMS.

Every year CBSE results of class X as well as of class XII are declared in phases according to the various regions of CBSE, i.e. Delhi, Guwahati, Allahabad, Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula. Result for Class X students of Chennai region is already out and results of the remaining regions will be declared today at 4 pm according to a statement from CBSE.

To help parents and students get instant information about their results on their mobile phones CBSE has tied up with different National informatics Centre and service providers to give information on mobiles.

Results by IVR:

Class X results can be accessed today at 4PM when they are announced globally through IVR, a technology that allows a computer to interact with humans through the use of voice and keypad inputs, by dialing 91 – 11 – 24357276.

MTNL users from Delhi can dial 28127030 to access the result whereas students from other parts of India would have to dial 011 -28127030 to get their CBSE class X result.

Some other dedicated mobile numbers for accessing results are: 55530 (Idea), 1255536 (BSNL outside Delhi), 54321223 (Tata Docomo) and 54321202 (Airtel).

However, these services will not be toll free and users will be charged 30 Paisa per minute for accessing result through IVRS per roll no. Results with subject wise marks would be conveyed in about 30 seconds through IVR.

Results by SMS:

Students can also get their results through by typing cbse10 (roll number) and sending SMS to 9212357123.

Also, if students want to get results from their mobile service providers, they can type cbse10 (roll number) in compose section in the messages and send it as SMS to 52001 for MTNL; 57766 for BSNL; 5800002 for Aircel; 55456068 for Idea; 54321202, 55077 for Airtel; and 54321, 51234, 5333300 for Tata Docomo.

Charges for sending the SMS charges will be 50 paisa.
