Activision is planning to bring yet another Call of Duty installment, but only for the Google Android platform. The upcoming game dubbed Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombie is being developed for Android devices. This Call of Duty will also have an online multi-player component along with 50 levels and more that are hidden. The Activision Forum Thread has been taken offline but XperiaGamer managed to get snapshots of the game manual.
Activision has been offering its Call of Duty line up of games for PCs as well as consoles. The company already offers one variation of its best selling Call of Duty title for the Apple iOS platform. Apparently the same game is being ported for the Google Android platform. Details of the game were hinted at at the Activision Forum.
This is not a regular Call of Duty game but one filled with zombies. Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombie has been adapted from the original series and tweaked for smartphones as well as tablets. The game features 50 levels of Dead-Ops Arcade for challenging warfare. Players can choose single player mode and even connect with multiple players over Bluetooth or WiFi.
The game will compete with the current top zombie game – Dead Trigger. Black Ops Zombie is already available for purchase for iOS devices through the Apple App store.
