After launching a 6 inch smartphone called Phablet III, Byond has now announced a 7 inch tablet called Mi-book Mi7. The tablet is available for Rs 10,999 against its launch price of Rs 11,499.
The Byond comes Android 4.0.4 aka Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, 7 inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 2 megapixel primary camera, 0.3 megapixel front camera, and expandable memory of 32 GB.
It has however 512 MB RAM, which seems to become the norm for budget tablets. Also, the tablet comes with an ordinary 3200 mAh Lithium – Ion which from a tablet’s point of view is average. It weighs 344 grams which is okay and has support for Google Play Store from which one can download many apps and widgets of their liking.
The notable thing is that it has calling facility.
