BSNL Rs 96, Rs 236 prepaid plans now offer 10GB 4G data per day

For users residing in BSNL’s 4G network, the state-run operator is offering new special prepaid vouchers which offer more data on a daily basis. Both the Rs 96 and Rs 236 STV prepaid recharge plans will now offer 10GB of daily data with validities of 28 days and 84 days respectively.

BSNL started rolling out 4G VoLTE service in select circles earlier this year. In line with the 4G deployment, BSNL is now offering two new prepaid plans – the Rs 96 prepaid plan and Rs 236 prepaid plan; bundling more data for those connected to its 4G networks.

For users residing in BSNL’s 4G network, the state-run operator is offering new special prepaid vouchers which offer more data on a daily basis, reports TelecomTalk.

Starting with the Rs 96 STV prepaid recharge, BSNL is providing users connected to 4G networks with 10GB data per day for a total validity of 28 days. The plan will only offer data benefits, meaning there will not be any free calling or benefits included. The plan will be active in select circles across India wherever BSNL has till now installed a 4G network. These regions include Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chennai, Nagpur, Bhiwapur, Vijayawada and more.

BSNL is also offering another 4G-centric plan with the release of the Rs STV 236 which is available on recharge of Rs 236. The plan comes with a validity of 84 days and during the validity, users will be provided 10GB of data per day. Users will thus be able to enjoy 840GB of total data during the span of the validity. Similar to the STV 96, the Rs 236 plan also doesn’t offer any voice calling benefits.

Prior to this, BSNL revised its prepaid plan of Rs 1,098 offering a total of 375GB data for 75 days. The state-run operator also changed the long-term prepaid plan of Rs 1,699 with 2GB data per day, unlimited local, STD and calling and 100 SMS per day for 455 days of validity.

However, the company has now started adding FUP (fair usage policy) on voice calls over select prepaid plans, shifting from unlimited voice calling to 250 minutes of calls per day.
