BSNL offers 4GB of data per day at Rs 149 ahead of FIFA World Cup 2018

BSNL is offering 4GB of data per day for a period of 28 days and it comes with a price tag of Rs 149. The plan will go live from June 14, 2018, and it will valid until July 15, 2018, which falls in line with the duration of the FIFA World Cup 2018. The move is meant to counter Reliance Jio’s Double Dhamaka offer.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the launch of a new promotional offer for its users just ahead of FIFA World Cup 2018. Dubbed as FIFA World Cup Special Data STV 149, the pack is meant to counter Reliance Jio’s latest move of providing more data for a limited period of time.

Under this offer, BSNL is offering 4GB of data per day for a period of 28 days and it comes with a price tag of Rs 149, reports TelecomTalk. Interestingly, the plan will go live from June 14, 2018, and it will valid until July 15, 2018, which falls in line with the duration of the FIFA World Cup 2018. Further, the plan will be available for prepaid users across the country, except Mumbai and Delhi. It is important to note, that this is a data-only pack and it does not come with free calling benefits.

The move is meant to counter Reliance Jio’s latest Double Dhamaka offer, where the telecom operator is offering 1.5GB more data per day on its range of plans along with discounts on MyJio app.

Previously, BSNL introduced two new FTTH (fibre-to-the-home) plans for its users. Dubbed as Fibro Combo ULD 777 and Fibro Combo ULD 1277, the plans offer plenty of data with 50Mbps and 100Mbps of speed respectively. The former comes with a 500GB data limit, while the latter comes with a 750GB data limit.
