BSNL now extends the validity of Rs 1,188 Marutham prepaid plan

BSNL is now offering an extra 20 days to its earlier validity of 345 days.

BSNL launched Rs 1,188 Mathuram prepaid plan in July this year under the promotional basis for 90 days. The operator later extended the availability of Rs 1,188 plan for another 90 days in October.Now BSNL has extended the validity of Marutham prepaid plan of Rs 1,188.

BSNL is now offering an extra 20 days to its earlier validity of 345 days. It means that the operator is now providing 365 days validity with its Rs 1,188 plan. This BSNL plan is available in Chennai and Tamil Nadu telecom circles, reports TelecomTalk.

BSNL’s Rs 1,188 Marutham plan will be available for recharge via C-Top-Up, M-Wallet, self-care and the company’s website. The additional validity offer on BSNL Marutham plan will be valid till January 16, 2020.

The plan benefits include 5GB of 2G/3G/4G data, unlimited voice calling to any network, including the Mumbai and Delhi circles. The voice calls are though limited to just 250 minutes per day, after which BSNL will charge users at standard call rates. Apart from this, the plan also offers a total of 1,200 SMS messages, which will valid for 345 days. This BSNL plan does not offer free voice calling to the MTNL network.

BSNL recently simplified its 6 paisa cashback scheme. Now BSNL is allowing its customers to avail the cashback benefit by sending an SMS message. Earlier, the telco was offering six paisa cashback to customers for making a voice call. As part of the offer, users have to make calls of 5 minutes or more to get 6 paise cashback.

BSNL customers can now avail the offer by sending an SMS with text “ACT 6 paisa” to 9478053334. This offer is applicable to BSNL wireline, broadband, and fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) subscribers and is available until December 31.
