Black Pearl Samsung Galaxy S7 edge goes official

The Black Pearl Samsung Galaxy S7 edge will be sold only with 128GB of internal storage.

While Samsung has today launched Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge in India for Rs 50,900, another Black Pearl varaint of Samsung Galaxy S7 edge which was making rounds on the web for the past few days has also gone official. It will be available in selected markets starting December 9th. The Black Pearl Samsung Galaxy S7 edge will be sold only with 128GB of internal storage.

There were reports that the Black Pearl Samsung Galaxy S7 edge will launched in South Korea on December 9. Now since the smartphone is official now, it is expected to be available in South Korea from tomorrow. The Black Pearl is the seventh edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge after White Pearl, Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, Pink Gold, and Blue Coral variants. However, in India the company only sells the Onyx, Silver, Gold and now the Blue Coral variant also.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge
Recalling the specifications, the Galaxy S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch Quad Super AMOLED display. Underneath the hood, we get an Octa-Core 2.3 GHz Exynos 8890 paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB Internal storage which is further expandable up to 256 via microSD card. Moreover, as the name suggests, the S7 Edge boasts an edge display, like the S6 Edg and is also water and resistant and comes with certification.

For the camera, the device sports a 12-megapixel camera with F1.7 aperture. Besides, the rear camera of S7 Edge is armed with phase detection (PDAF) technology, motion panorama, motion photo, and hyper lapse features. Up front, It has a 5-megapixel front camera that comes with wide selfie mode.

Being a Dual device, the Galaxy S7 Edge sports a hybrid dual SIM (the SIM2 slot can be used for micro SD card or the SIM2). In terms of battery, the Galaxy S7 Edge packs a 3600 battery which supports wireless charging with Quick charging facilities.
