“BigFlix plus is the first movies-on-demand subscription service, which offers a vast choice of HD Quality movies to the net savvy movie buffs in India, at their convenience, across all internet connected devices. We are looking at replicating a ‘NetFlix’ in India, In order to provide this world class experience,†said Manish Agarwal, chief operating officer – digital business, Reliance Entertainment.
Users can access content from their devices over 3G or over WiFi whichever is suitable for them. The content has been optimised for mobile devices and Bigflix promises HD quality movie viewing experience for the customers with this service.
Broadly comparing with the regular movie viewing experience in a movie theater, this service offers more value for money as users do not need to be bound by time to see their favorite movies. Moreover the price tag of Rs 250 per month also seems quite pocket friendly as any movie that we see nowadays in a movie theater does not cost less than Rs 200.
Users can download the Bigflix application on both the Android and iOS devices from the respective application stores.
