BenQ introduces home cinema projectors in India

Both the home cinema projectors deliver 4K performance with 3840 x 2160 pixels and 8.3 million pixels for each frame.

BenQ has today introduced the launch of its first home cinema projectors in India. The company has introduced BenQ CinePrime W2700, which is available for Rs 2.49 lakhs and CinePrime W5700 for Rs 2.99 lakhs. The former is available for purchase, while the latter will begin shipping Q1 2019.

Both the home cinema projectors deliver 4K performance with 3840 x 2160 pixels and 8.3 million pixels for each frame. There is a 4K-optimised optical system with six structured groups of all-glass lens elements that provide decent light transmissions and better image quality. The projectors are equipped with DCI-P3 colour standard. Both the models come with BenQ-exclusive CinematicColor technology. W5700 provides a 1.6X big zoom and 2D H/V lens shift which is ideal for AV rooms.

The W5700 provides 100 per cent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space and 100 per cent of Rec. 709 while W2700 covers 94 per cent of DCI-P3 and 100 per cent of Rec. 709 with accurate Delta E3 colours. Then there is an HDR-Pro technology that incorporates auto colour and tone mapping techniques to offer better brightness and contrast ranges optimised for projection. The technology support both HDR10 and HLG formats.
