Asus ZenPad Z8s unveiled with 7.9-inch display, Android Nougat

A 4,680 mAh non-removable lithium-polymer battery powers this tablet which claims to offer usage time of up to 12 hours and 300 hours of standby time.

Asus has unveiled a tablet in the US, which is named as Asus ZenPad Z8s. The tablet is priced at $250 and is now available for purchase exclusively via US operator Verizon Wireless. The tablet comes only in standard Gray colour.

Asus ZenPad Z8s features a unibody metal frame and a 7.9-inch QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixel) IPS display. It comes with the 1.8 GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 650 (4x 1.4GHz ARM A53 + 2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A72), which is paired with Adreno 510 and 3GB RAM. The tablet runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system on top of which lies the ZenUI. A 4,680 non-removable lithium-polymer battery powers this tablet which claims to offer usage time of up to 12 hours and 300 hours of standby time.

The Asus ZenPad Z8s comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via card. The tablet has an 8-megapixel rear camera on the rear, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. Besides, the tablet offers 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/b/g/n), 4.1, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, Type-C. The tablet weighs around 319 grams.
