Asus Zenfone Zoom will cost Rs 29,999 in India, according to RTN Asia which quoted its sources saying so.
The Zenfone Zoom is set to be launched in India this month itself. As its name suggests, the highlight of the phone is its camera. Its 13 megapixel primary camera has 3X optical zoom, which is much better than other smartphones which come with only digital zoom facility. It offers up to 12x magnification as compared to 4X zoom facility in usual smartphones. Besides, it has laser auto focus and 10 lenses as well as optical image stabilization feature. Besides, Zenfone Zoom offers DSLR-style shooting experience. The ZenFone Zoom is also equipped with a 5 megapixel front camera for selfie lovers.
The Asus ZenFone Zoom features a 5.5-inch FHD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) along with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and has anti-fingerprint coating too. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor and 4GB RAM. The Zenfone Zoom offers 64GB internal memory which can be supplemented by up to 128 GB through a micro SD card.
The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with ASUS ZenUI on top, and is packed with 3000 mAh non-removable lithium-polymer battery along with ASUS BoostMaster technology that charges the battery from zero to 60% in just 39 minutes.
Connectivity options include 4G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset measures 158.9 x 78.84 x 11.95~5 mm and weighs 185 grams and in the sensors department it has Accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, gyroscope, digital compass and Hall-effect sensors.
