Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 receives new FOTA update

Asus has revealed that the update is currently rolling out in batches.

Asus has started rolling out a new update for its latest smartphone – the Zenfone Max Pro M2 in India. The latest update brings bug fixes and improvements along with the latest security patch.

The update comes with version number 15.2016.1902.192. The update brings the latest February 19 security patch to the latest smartphone. It also improves front camera quality. The new update also upgrades touchscreen firmware and improves display in status bar.

Asus has revealed that the update is currently rolling out in batches. Users can check for the latest update by going to Settings > About Phone > System updates.

To recall,Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone has a 3GB RAM and 4GB of RAM coupled with 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a 5000mAh battery. It has dual-camera setup with a combination of a primary sensor of 12-megapixel and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, there is a 13-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 26mm focal length, LED flash and face unlock.
