Asus has confirmed that it will be holding an event at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 to unveil its next-generation of products. Now, just ahead of launch Asus Zenfone 5 has appeared online revealing some key specifications along with key design information.
According to a report by WinFuture, the smartphone has spotted being on leaked manual. The leak suggests that the smartphone will be bear a model number ASUS XooPD and it also shows the design of the upcoming smartphone.
To start with, it is certain that Asus has adopted the latest 18:9 display for the upcoming device and one can see vertically-aligned dual-camera setup at the back, which is similar to the Apple iPhone X along with a fingerprint sensor. The right houses volume controls and power on/off button, while the left houses Dual-SIM slot. The top houses a Headphone jack, while at the base, there is a Micro USB port flanked between speaker grilles.
The smartphone is reported to boast a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. According to the Geekbench listing, the Zenfone 5 is expected to be powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with 3GB of RAM. The phone will run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
