Asus has revealed five devices including ZenBook 3, Transformer 3Â and 3 Pro, ZenScreen, and Zen Pad 3S 10 in Zenvolution event at the IFA 2016. While the Transformer series and ZenBook are Asus’ own range of Laptop and PCs, ZenScreen is a monitor and ZenPad 3S, as the name suggests, is a tablet.
Asus claims Zenbook 3 to be world’s most prestigious laptop with unprecedented performance. Coming in at ultra-sleek design with just 11.9mm thickness and 910g weight, the ZenBook 3 will be available in three colour variants namely, Royal Blue, Rose Gold and Quartz Grey and a special two-phase anodizing process is used to create stunning golden highlights on its diamond-cut edges.
The ZenBook 3 comes with 7thÂ generation Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB RAM and 1TB ultra-fast SSD. For Audio, it has powerful quad-speaker audio system by Harman Kardon and for data transfer we get a USB Type-C port. The display is 12.5 inch with wide 72 percent NTSC color gamut and an edge-to-edge covering of tough, scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Additionally, the ZenBook 3 sports a full-size backlit keyboard with 19.8mm key pitch. It also has a built-in fingerprint reader with Windows Hello support. Asus has also implemented an innovative cooling system featuring the world’s thinnest fan design at just 3mm thin which ensures maximum performance with no heating issues. The ZenBook 3 is priced at â‚¬1,999 for the Core i7 model.
Asus Transformer 3 Pro and Transformer 3
The Transformer 3 Pro is a 2-in-1 PC from Asus that delivers PC like performance with ultimate portability. The Transformer 3 Pro comes in at extremely thin design with only 8.35mm thickness. It comes in Icicle Gold and Glacier Gray colour. Being a 2-in-1 PC, Transformer 3 Pro has an integrated metal kickstand with a stepless any-position hinge that lets users set the device at almost any viewing angle up to 170Â°.
n the front, it has 12.6 inch 3K display with 275 pixel density a wide colour gamut of 121 percent sRGB for rich, vibrant colours. Inside, it is powered by Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB RAM and 1TB ultra-fast SSD just like the ZenBook 3. The USB Type-C on this machine can transfer data at a speed of 10GBps via USB 3.1 and 40GBps via Thunderbolt 3. It also has a USB 3.0, a SD Card Reader and an HDMI port. You also get a 13 megapixel rear camera and a front facing camera which supports Windows Hello face recognition.
Asus Transformer 3 has most of the specifications similar to the Pro variant except that it has 512GB of SSD and 8GB RAM.

Another product which was revealed in Zenvolution event was the ZenScreen which is the world’s lightest and slimmest 15.6 inch Full HD portable monitor with 6.5mm thin bezels, claims Asus. Other than that, the ZenScreen sports a hybrid USB-C port that supports power and video transmission, and enables compatibility with any laptop with a USB-C or USB Type-A port. Asus has also included an ultra-thin 1mm foldable smart case, which not only provides protection but also can be turned into a horizontal or vertical stand. The ZenScreen will sell at the price of â‚¬269.
Asus ZenPad 3S 10
And the last product which was announced in the event was the ZenPad 3S 10 , a 9.7 inch QXGA (2048 x 1536) high-resolution tablet which is wrapped around a slim, compact and elegant aluminium design with a thickness of just 5.8mm and ultra-thin bezels of 5.3mm. Inside, it is powered by a hexa-core MediaTek 8176 processor coupled with 4GB Ram and 64GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card. The ZenPad 3S is the first tablet from ASUS to feature a fingerprint scanner and also supports ASUS Z stylus for productivity apps. Moreover, it is packed by 5900mAh battery and also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology. For smart enhanced media consumption, it comes with Exclusive ASUS Tru2Life video-enhancement technology and DTS Headphone: X virtual 7.1-channel surround-sound technology. Regarding the price, ASUS has priced the ZenPad 3S 10 at â‚¬379 with no information about the release date.
