Apple has announced its partnership with Cashify to introduce iPhone XR upgrade programme in India. With this, Cashify will become the exclusive buyback partner for all Apple products in India.
The upgrade programme will be available across more than 2,000 Apple authorized stores in more than 1,000 locations. Cashify in partnership with Redington, Ingram and Rashi Peripherals have also announced some exchange offer, where users can own an iPhone XR at an effective cost of Rs 1,999 per month using Axis Bank cards and Citi Credit Cards.
Users opting for this programme will need to visit the Apple Authorized reseller and they will get an instant discount of Rs 5,300 on the purchase of Apple iPhone XR. One will be able to exchange his/her old smartphone at the store and get up to Rs 25,000 off on it. Further, users will get an additional 10 per cent cashback on EMIs and Non-EMIs on Citi Credit Cards and Axis Bank Debit and Credit cards. This offer is valid only for a limited period for in-store purchases only and is not available online. Exchange values will vary based on the make, model, condition, year and configuration of the trade-in device.
To recall, the new iPhone was launched in India last year. The iPhone XR is available in in three configurations – 64GB, 128GB and 256GB which can be purchased for Rs 76,900, Rs 81,900 and Rs 91,900 respectively. The “affordable” iPhone is available in six different colours – Coral, Yellow, Blue, (Product) Red, Black and White
The device comes with a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display with 1792 x 828 pixels with 328ppi pixel density. It’s powered by the Apple A12 Bionic Chipset that is made with a 7nm process and comes loaded with a quad-core GPU.
The iPhone XR runs on the latest iOS 12 operating system. It comes with a single camera lens with a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization, 1.4-micron pixel size and 6-element lens. There’s a single 7-megapixel selfie shooter on the front which is enabled with Portrait mode and a variable DOF for bokeh effect.
