Just about a week ahead of the announcement date, Apple took the world by surprise by announcing the launch of its second generation iPad better known as the iPad 2 on March 02.
Along with the iPad 2, Apple will also be showcasing the next gen OS for the Apple iPhone and a totally new operating system for the Macintosh PC as well called the Mac OS Lion.
There have been rumors about what all the new improved version of the iPad will feature, like the inclusion of a SD/MMC card reader and a higher Resolution display also.
The new iPad 2, however, is expected to be an upgrade of the present version which will have a faster and less power consuming A5 Processor at its core along with 512 MB of memory or RAM for faster execution.
There might be a change in the display as iPad 2 will be having some cosmetic changes as well. It is supposed to be sleeker and more ergonomic. Addition of a frontal camera along with the main camera is expected which would be further supported by a flash playback.
According to some, Apple could also launch the iPad 3 by mid next year. So this is going to be a little tricky for theose who wants to buy the iPad 2.
They might just stop themselve and wait a little more to get the iPad3 which is expected be better, faster and much more pleasing to the eye.
