Apple is finally bringing its updated product lineup, which it unveiled during its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June this year. The lineup includes 10.5-inch iPad Pro, new and refreshed series of MacBook and iMacs.
iPads
The new 10.5-inch iPad Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 52,900 for the 64GB WiFi model, while the 25GB and 512GB variants are priced at Rs 60,900 and Rs 76,900 respectively. The WiFi+4G model with 64 GB storage will cost you Rs 63,900 while 256GB and 512GB are priced at Rs 71,900 and Rs 87,900 respectively.
Coming to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the 64GB, 256Gb and 512GB models are priced at Rs 63,500, 70,900 and 86,400 respectively. The WiFi + 4G models with the 64GB, 256GG and 512GB storage options is available at Rs 74,100, Rs 81,400 and Rs 97,000 respectively. The major highlight of the new iPads is the new display wit ProMotion technology and the latest A10X Fusion chip. Starting with the ProMotion technology, it delivers refresh rates up to 120Hz, which makes more responsive and one will see smoother motion content.
The new iPads also features redesigned Retina display, which Apple claims to the brightest iPad display yet. The latest iPads come loaded with iOS 10, however, they will be updated with the official launch of iOS 11 this fall. Coming to the new 64-bit A10X Fusion chip, it comes to a six-core CPU and 12-core GPU deliver up to 30 percent faster CPU performance and 40 percent faster graphics performance than the A9X chip while delivering all-day battery life.
MacBooks
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar comes with a price tag of Rs 1,47,900 and Rs 1,64,100 for the 256GB and 512GB SSD storage variants respectively. The 13-inch MacBook Pro without Touch Bar and Touch ID is priced at Rs 1,04,900 for the 128GB variant, while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 1,47,900. The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is priced at Rs 1,98,500 for the 256GB storage variant, while the 512GB variant is priced at Rs 2,28,100.
The 12-inch Macbook which also got the Intel Kaby Lake processors and 50 percent faster SSDs is priced at Rs 1,04,800 for the 256GB SSD variant and Rs 1,28,700 for the 512GB SSD model. Macbook Air which has got a minor upgrade from its 2-year-old 1.6GHz Core i5 Broadwell chip to 1.8GHz Core i5 Broadwell chip. It will be selling at its old price of Rs 77,200 and Rs 92,500 respectively.
iMacs
The iMac series has seen some significant upgrades over their last generation. This time base variant has got some new specifications and a minor price cut too. It has been upgraded to latest 2.2.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 coupled with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. It comes at a price of Rs 90,200. The 21.5-inch Retina iMac now starts at Rs 1,07,900.
The entry-level Retina iMac comes with some nice features like the latest 3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 coupled with Radeon Pro 555 with 2GB of VRAM and 8GB of RAM. By spending Rs. 17,000 more, one can get a 1TB fusion drive instead of 1TB HDD.
The base variant of new 27-inch iMac starts at Rs 1,48,900 which includes 3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 coupled with Radeon Pro 570 with 4GB of VRAM and 8GB (two 4GB) of 2400MHz DDR4 memory. While the higher variants go high as Rs 1,89,900.
