Rovio Entertainment developed Angry Birds franchise has several games out of which Angry Birds Rio exists across mobile platforms. The Angry Birds Rio game has been made available for the Windows Phone 8 based smartphones through the Windows Phone Store.
The Angry Birds Rio is set around the original Angry Birds but are kidnapped and taken to the city of Rio de Janeiro. The Angry Birds flee from their kidnappers and set out to save their friends – Blu and Jewel. Involving Physics based gameplay, the puzzles are different for this installment.
Angry Birds Rio offers a new High Dive episode that is based on an upcoming movie. Packing 20 levels, the game also offers 6 bonus levels set in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Weighing about 42 MB, the Angry Birds Rio game is supported on the Windows Phone 8 based smartphones. Rovio has also updated this game to support the Windows Phone 8.1 platform based devices.
