Amazon has redesigned its famous Kindle App and it now comes with a new look, a larger book cover, new fonts, a new application icon and finally giving users the option to switch between a light and a dark theme. The Kindle application is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store for Android smartphone, tablet, iPad and iPhone.
Chuck Moore, Vice President, Kindle said, “We’ve built the new Kindle app from the ground up for book lovers, giving readers easy access to everything they might want to do with their books, all in one place.”Kindle application is an e-Reader application and gives access to millions of books online to it users in form of ebooks.

The new bottom navigation bar shows an icon of the book one is reading and makes it easier and faster to get back to reading at any moment. Other than this, the bottom bar provides quick access to Kindle’s features like switching between the pages of a book, Kindle library, user’s personal bookstore and more.
Further, Chuck Moore added, “It’s now easier than ever to turn your phone or tablet into a book and immerse yourself in an author’s world at any time,” Amazon has added a Goodreads integration feature for users as well so that one can follow their friend’s list of books and discuss about the story later on.
