TCL-owned Alcatel has launched a new tablet – Alcatel 3T in the United States. The tablet is priced at $150 which is approximately Rs 11,121. It will be sold exclusively on T-Mobile in the U.S. and will be available offline and available online from October 12.
The Alcatel 3T comes with a metallic black finish with the Alcatel logo at the back. It features an 8-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels Resolution and Asahi protective glass on top. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek MT8765A 1.5GHz quad-core processor. The Alcatel tablet has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
For the camera department, the tablet features a 5-megapixel rear camera and the same 5-megapixel at the front panel. The Alcatel 3T is backed up by a 4,080mAh battery that Alcatel claims will last up to 500 hours of 2G standby, or over 8 hours of Wi-Fi video streaming. and it runs e Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
There’s also a built-in Kid’s Mode that allows parents to set usage timers and bar certain apps which are used by children. You can see which apps your kids can interact with and how much time they can spend with those apps. Connectivity features if the tablet includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM radio and 3.5mm headset jack. The tablet measures 209.3 x 125 x 8.4 mm and it weighs 294 grams.
