With the increasing hype of Reliance Jio SIM, several operators have been cutting mobile internet tariffs. In the latest aggressive bid to make mobile internet affordable, Aircel has introduced a new data plan wherein Aircel users in Karnataka will be able to enjoy 5GB and 11GB of 3G internet data for Rs 298 and Rs 598 respectively.
The data under the said packs will have a validity of 28 days and call rates for the pack will be 1 paise per 2 seconds. Aircel claims that the new data plans have been introduced as part of the company’s highly cost-effective propositions, after gathering insights on customer demand in the market.
On August 15, Aircel had also launched ‘Aircel Ka Azaadi Offer’ at Rs 123. The offer allows the customers to make unlimited calls to any local network and avail unlimited data with a validity of a day.
