After Anna, Baba Ramdev uses ‘miss call’ to connect with public

People who are interested in supporting Baba Ramdev hunger strike against corruption and black money will have to give a missed call to 02233081122 (toll free). The call gets automatically rejected and caller will receive a confirmation SMS message.

Sometime back, when veteran Gandhian Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption campaign – India Against Corruption – was launched, his supporters had come out with a unique way to tap the support of mobile users, where anyone who wants to lend support to Anna Hazare’s campaign just needed to place a miss call to +912261550789 to stand against corruption.

Now the same method is being used by Baba Ramdev’s supporters to garner support for fight against corruption, which will begin at Delhi’s Lila Maidan on July 4.

People who are interested in supporting Baba Ramdev’s hunger strike against corruption and black money will have to give a miss call to 02233081122 (tollfree). The call gets automatically rejected and caller will receive a confirmation message saying, ” 400 lac cr kala dhan desh me lane ke liye Bhrshtachar mitao satyagrah ka samrthan kare v anyo ko prerit karke rastradharam nibhaye (To bring back Rs 400 crore of black money to the country, remove corruption, support the agitation and fulfill your national duty by encouraging others).

Besides, people can also call 01334-240008 to register their name with Bharat Swabhiman Trust to participate in hunger strike with Baba Ramdev.
Ramdev has asked the government to get the black money back lying in foreign banks, punish the people involved in it and make strict anti-graft laws.
Baba Ramdev sometime back said in a press conference, “Black money worth Rs 400 lakh crore is lying in several international banks. The government should make concentrated efforts to get the black money, which is a national property, back. This money can be used for the development of our country.”
