Acer has introduced a new rival of the Apple iPad Mini. Called Iconia A1-810, the tablet is now selling for $259 Rs 14,300 in the Europe region, French website – Mini Machines, has reported.
Acer Iconia A1-810 has a 7.9-inch IPS panel based display and has 1024×768 pixel Resolution natively. Acer has packed a quad-core 1.2 GHz Mediatek MT8125 mobile processor, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB on-board storage in the tablet. One can add up to 32 GB micro SD card to beef-up its storage. This is good enough to power the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update running on the top of it. It has a 5 megapixel camera at the back and a 0.3 megapixel camera in the front.
For wirelessly connectivity, Iconia A1-810 offers WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The stereo speakers are located at the backside.
The tablet also features micro HDMI to connect the tablet to an HD display and micro USB port for charging. Measuring about 10.5 mm thick and 460 grams, the tablet packs a 3250 mAh battery. As now, Acer has not announced the availability for other markets.
