Acer has unveiled the new thin and light laptops- Aspire 5s and Swift 3 14-inch and 15.6-inch 2019 editions in India. The new line of notebooks will come with narrow bezel displays, latest Intel Whiskey Lake processor, NVIDIA GeForce graphics and will be available for a starting price of Rs 40,999.
Acer Aspire 5s
Starting off with the Aspire 5s, the notebook is powered by the latest Intel Whiskey lake 8th Gen Core i3 and i5 processors with Intel Optane memory and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics. Weighing in at 1.8 kgs, the Aspire 5s features a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with ultra-narrow bezels and a 180-degrees to lay-flat design to offer an immersive cinematic viewing experience.
The display comes with Acer BluelightShield that reduces blue-light emissions to protect your eyes while Acer Color Intelligence technology dynamically adjusts gamma and saturation in real-time. Additionally, Acer TrueHarmony technology and optimized Dolby Audio deliver high-quality sound via the dual stereo speakers. The notebooks come with a long-lasting battery and an LED backlit keyboard.
Acer Swift 3 (14-inch)
The entry-level Swift 3 laptop comes with 14-inch Full HD display with ultra-slim bezels and Acer Color Intelligence technology. the Swift 3 weighs in at 1.45 kgs and is powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Core i5 CPUs 8130 U/8250U processors with up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 256/512GB PCIe SSD storage.
The device offers 12 hours of battery life and dual stereo speakers which is supported by Dolby Atmos and Acer TrueHarmony technology. Supporting Windows Hello through fingerprint readers for fast and secure logins, while Skype for Business certification ensures crisp and lag-free communication and a great Cortana with Voice experience.
Acer Swift 3 (15.6-inch)
The 15.6-inch edition the Acer Swift 3 comes with a 15.6-inch full HD display in a 14-inch chassis, weighing as much as the 14-inch model. The differences are noticeable with a bigger cinematic display, slimmer bezels, Intel Optane Memory and Nvidia GeForce MX150/MX130x graphics.
Powered with 8th Gen Intel® Core i5 CPU (8250U), the Swift 3 offers up to 4X faster performance over integrated graphics cards while Intel Optane memory increases responsiveness and load times. The laptop supports Windows Hello through fingerprint readers for fast and secure logins, while Skype for Business certification ensures crisp and lag-free communication and a great Cortana with Voice experience.
The Aspire 5s and Swift 3 from Acer will be available for starting prices of Rs 40,999 and Rs 64,999 respectively from November in Acer Exclusive Stores, leading electronic retail stores and multi-brand outlets across India.
