These tablets run Metro user interface bearing Windows 8 and also has the Windows app store. The new Acer Iconia Tab W700 has an 11.6-inch, full 1080p HD resolution supporting display. On the other hand, the Iconia Tab W510 comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display that provides about 295 degree angle view. This tablet also comes in a tri – mode – touch, type and view. Acer will offer this tablet with detachable keyboard dock that can be hooked to the tablet.
Acer just showed these tablets and no details on the specifications of either of them were shared. So we know not what processor was running inside these tablets but those who were present at the stall confirmed that it might not be an ARM based processor. Acer did not commit on any expected date of availability of these tablets but we can expect to be available by the end of this year.
