As reported by The Mobile Indian earlier, Nokia has formally announced the launch of its Lumia 1520 phablet in India for Rs 46,990.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 comes with a 6 inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The display integrates ClearBlack technology that shows darker blacks while cancelling the reflection from bright lights. This Nokia handset has a quad core 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile processor and Adreno 330 graphics processing unit. It has 2 GB RAM and 32 GB on-board storage, and a memory card slot as well that can hold up to a 64 GB micro SD card. It runs on Windows Phone 8 operating system.
Nokia has armed it with a 20.7 megapixel image sensor with PureView imaging technology. The image sensor is aided by Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. The front facing 1.2 megapixel camera can be used for video chats.
The Lumia 1520 features dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, and GLONASS support. Nokia has packed a 3400 mAh battery in it. It offers Lumia 1520 in yellow, white, black and red colours.
