With Lenovo A6000 launch yesterday, all eyes are now on 4G smartphones. Here is a list of LTE phones available in India for less than Rs 20,000.

With Indian telecom operators, with BWA spectrum that they have got in an auction held in 2010, set to roll out their 4G netowork this year all eyes are now on 4G enabled devices. Just yesterday, Lenovo announced the A6000 smartphone with 4G at just Rs 6,999 at which it is now the cheapest LTE smartphone in India.

So if you are also hunting for a 4G smartphone, here is a list of devices with the 4G capability.

Lenovo Vibe X2 – Rs 19,999

The Lenovo Vibe X2 comes with a 5 inch IPS display, and an impressive 441 ppi pixel density. Lenovo Vibe X2, running Android KitKat, is equipped with an octa-core 2 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. The Lenovo Vibe X2 has 32 GB of internal memory and sadly that will have to suffice as there is no way to expand the memory. It has a 13 megapixel primary camera with auto-focus, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR, etc. In the front, there is a 5 megapixel unit. The Lenovo Vibe X2 can record videos in 1080p at 30 fps. It has all the connectivity features you would expect like GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, and naturally, 4G. Its 2300 mAh battery is claimed to provide 17 hours of talk time or 228 hours of standby.

Lenovo Vibe Z – Rs 19,999

Armed with a large 5.5 inch IPS display, the Lenovo Vibe Z’s display has impressive resolution of 401 ppi. The device runs an older version of Android, namely Jelly Bean, but it does have a fast 2.2 GHz quad-core processor running alongside 2 GB of RAM. The internal memory is 16 GB, and again, is not expandable.

The Lenovo Vibe Z also has a 13 megapixel primary camera with auto-focus, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR, etc. In the front, there is a 5 megapixel fixed focus camera. And it also records videos in 1080p at 30 fps. Naturally, the Lenovo Vibe Z is equipped with 4G, but it also has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, etc. The battery is 3000 mAh affair, with a claimed talk time of 33 hours or 648 hours of standby.

HTC Desire 820Q – Rs 19,000

The HTC Desire 820Q has a large 5.5 inch IPS display with HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 covering. The phone comes with Android KitKat and HTC’s Sense UI. It runs on the combination of a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and 1 GB of RAM. The phone has 16 GB of internal memory and a 128 GB microSD card slot.

The Desire 820Q offers a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 8 megapixel front camera. This dual-SIM device is equipped with not only 4G, but GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, and DLNA. The 2600 mAh battery is enough for 10 hours of talk time or 460 hours of standby, on 3G.

The Yu Yureka first gained headlines for being a ridiculously low priced gadget with incredible specs, and an OS to draw in all the geeks, Cyanogen! The Yu Yureka comes with Android KitKat (4.4) Cyanogen Mod OS 11. For those of you not in the know, Cyanogen is an extremely customisable Android based OS. The attractive Yu Yureka has a 5.5 inch IPS display, with a pixel density of 267 ppi. The processing capability of the Yureka, on paper is extremely high, a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor with 64-bit architecture and a staggering 2 GB of RAM. The Lenovo A6000 offers an 8 megapixel rear camera which is equipped with face detection, auto-focus, HDR, flash, etc. Its front 2 megapixel fixed focus looks decent for selfies. The Lenovo A6000 has 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, etc. Its 2300 mAh battery claims to offer 22 hours of talk time and 264 hours of standby.
